Summer Nights under the Big Texas Stars
A Western Wishes Gala

Hosts Emerson and Marci Nelson with friends at the 2009 Western Wishes event

Plan to attend a special evening with Western Wishes kids, rodeo legends, and young guns, with the premiere of the music video, “Here in This Place,” by Brian Lumley. The commemorative music video will highlight Western Wishes kids and the cowboys, cowgirls, and country singers who have brightened their lives since 1994.
The dinner, dance and concert will help to support the Texas Chapter of Western Wishes while celebrating the 15th anniversary of the national program. With inspirational speeches, wonderful food and great entertainment, the evening should prove to be a memorable event for all who attend.*

CHRIS COX CELEBRITY CUTTING CELEBRATES COURAGE

For horse enthusiasts looking for great family fun, attendees of the Pacific Coast Cutting Derby were hosted and entertained by nationally acclaimed horse clinician, Chris Cox. Along with the Pacific Coast Association, Chris held a special horse clinic and celebrity cutting demonstration to raise funds for Western Wishes and rewarding the fighting spirit of two exceptional kids. Along with highlighting the sport of cutting, Chris put on a live demonstration of how to handle a real problem horse.  READ MORE....
